Nintendo Switch Online App Available Now

The Nintendo Switch Online app is now available in most regions. The app is free and the service will continue to be free until sometime in 2018.

It's good that they're getting this out in time for Splatoon 2's release as a lot of people are going to use it to invite friends and use SplatNet 2. (not so sure about voice chat but who knows what people will do lol)

I don't see many using it do to the fact that your phone always needs to be for it to work and the app closes if your doing something also on your phone.

^ Yeah it's honestly kind of ridiculous. I feel like Nintendo needs help creating their apps from a third party other than just DeNA, because no matter the quality of the content in their apps/games, the apps themselves don't run well on any device. And I feel like a reason for both of those things is because they can't get the app to run efficiently enough to allow for other things to be run or for it to run with the screen off.
