Nintendo and Namco Bandai are working on a new Mario Kart Arcade game.

Could Mario Kart U possibly look like this?

I kinda doubt Mario Kart U will be like this (other than the faces).

I would like to play it, too bad it's only in Japan.

It's neat to see that they made another Mario Kart Arcade game. They've always looked so flashy and fun to play. XD Indeed, it's unfortunate that it's exclusive in Japan only.

Before starting a race, the player can take their photography and decorate it with some included features, such as a Mario cap and mustache and a pirate suit. Grand Prix, Clone Battle and two players mode are confirmed. Two karts can combine into one, with a driver and a shooter similar to Mario Kart Double Dash!!. Also, gameplay elements featured in Mario Kart 7 are present.

A double dash mode?! That sounds amazing! :0

I like how they kept the elements of gliding and the turbos while underwater from MK7. As for MK Wii U, the thought of it is making me anticipate its appearance more. I'm sure it will be amazing.

The last character is likely Bowser Jr.

That actually looks really good, I want that to be the Wii U version of Mario kart...

A MK arcade game that's not crap. I wish I could somehow get this!

Perhaps it could get an English release, but it's probably be like, 5 years later.

I really don't see Waluigi appearing.

Waluigi is out of the question really, he wasn't even in Mario Kart 7, I highly doubt he would make it in this. Especially without Wario. And if there's only one character spot left, it's basically impossible for him to make an appearance at all...

This game will be playable at World Fair on June 28th and June 29th.

A track based off of New Super Mario Bros and a new item that looks like a P Wing.



This game uses the Spiny Shell over the Blue Shell could this mean that Mario Kart 8 will use the Spiny Shell over the Blue Shell?
Also there are 5 laps on this course so it's likely a shorter course.

^ I can't see the scans, and I hope that it uses the Spiny Shell instead, it was much better.
