I don't read or write much, but I do have my share of favourites...
As a child (and I wont lie, even today) I always enjoyed Vicky Angel. It's about two school girls, only one gets hit by a car and dies and the other school girl dealing with her death and trying to cope, only she seems to be seeing Vicky as a ghost.
It's a simple yet good read, what I found fun is that as a child I read it that the main character was literally seeing a ghost... until someone showed me a new side to it, that the character could be going mad with guilt and projecting the ghost herself.
But as an adult I've grown to like Sugar Rush. It's kind of NSFW, but not too much. It's basically about another schoolgirl discovering she's finding romance in another rougher school girl, she's all around innocent and confused at first, and the girl she's into gets her into plenty of trouble. It's a fun little read, it's heavy on British culture though.
I watched the TV show of this first, so it helped me visualize everything better... but still offered me more at times... kind of like the same effect with Harry Potter if you watched the movies first.
How about you guys? What're your favourite books?
