The next Mario and Donkey game will be on the eShop soon.

This game is better as a eShop only game.

I really liked the one on DS, I never got around to beating it... (I had it preloaded on my R4) but this one looks like it'd be worth a buy if it's at a cheap enough price.

I probably won't get it, the other ones were fun, but I'm just getting kinda bored of these.

But don't you think this one has a totally new concept? Rather than making your own boards in 2D it's new tracks in 3D! It reminds me of the train levels in Mickey's Racing Adventure...

^ It is a somewhat new concept with the 3D, it's just something I'd likely get bored by after a week or so. Just like the GBA Mario Vs. Donkey Kong was different than the other 2 that are already out. It looks creative, I just probably won't enjoy playing it as much as other games.

Also, I find it strange this one is Called 'Mario and Donkey Kong' instead of 'Mario vs. Donkey Kong'. (Unless it's just called that in other parts of the world...I have no idea.)

I suppose you're right, but then I bring back the "real game" case I brought up in Pokemon Rumble U. It will probably be as cheap as £6, and giving the price it's got a alot of content for it's worth, and you don't expect to be playing a £6 game for too long, y'know?

^ Well I had to convert pounds to dollars...but indeed. There was also that one downloadable DSiWare Mario Vs. Donkey Kong game (can't remember the name). It was pretty low-priced, yet still around the same length as the 'full' games are. (Maybe a bit longer, but still). I wouldn't really want to pay full price for a game that I wouldn't be playing too much, or that doesn't have much to do in it. I'm starting to go off into something completely different, but you know what I mean right? Razz

I know exactly what you mean, it's the point I'm trying to get across.

M&D should hopefully go above and beyond when it comes to content for price, since it reminds me of just a little game to play here and there like Tetris.

Now if it were the same "drag the pieces" game from the DS... I'd be a lot less optimistic about it...

The game will possibly be releasing May 9th. They haven't shown much info on it yet, but it's possible I guess...

Oh, the gameplay is different than I thought. I didn't know that you placed tiles from the touch screen, I thought you just guided your Mini Marios across the already made platforms like in the other games, except it's 3D this time. Placing the tiles seems a bit more boring, but I'd have to try it for myself first.

Those minigames remind me of the ones they had in Mario 64 DS and New Super Mario Bros. That Pauline on the title screen is kinda creepy...
