Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS

I wouldn't have minded if Skullkid was a playable character, though it's not too hurting that he isn't. I personally was never fond of Snake's gameplay style so if he's out for good, well alright.

What character does everyone think we will see show next in a pic of the day or in a trailer in a Nintendo Direct?

I think it will be the Ice Climbers or King Dedede since it's winter time. Zelda for the Link Between Worlds release in Japan could also happen. My final guess is unlikely to happen next but, what if they show a newcomer soon and on christmas eve or christmas they show an alt outfit for that character.

Ice Climbers would be perfect for this time of year, but it could also be some random character to throw us off like Captain Falcon. Unless they're planning to release a new F-Zero before Smash Bros?

The development started in spring of last year and I don't see coming out around the time of Mario Kart 8.

But perhaps Mario Kart will release in March, and this will release in May or the beginning of June, both are still in the Spring.

Sure this is obvious but may as well say it.

Who else just wants a chara reveal? Specifically, a newcomer.

Aaaaand. Speculation of when this may release? I say, "Sometime 2014". If not, perhaps 2015?

^ Nintendo has the release in thebupcoming games list as just "2014". So we can assume it will be releasing at the very END of 2014. It'll likely wind up getting delayed as well, just like Brawl...which I'd be fine with just because it means they'd be working on the game for a longer time, meaning it would hopefully be a better game.

Nintendog returns as an assist trophy.



I would have been more happy if they got rid of this one.

I thought that the Nintendogs were going to be part of the Nintendogs stage in the 3DS version...now I think they may just remove that stage since it seems fairly plain and boring.

I was never fond of the Nintendogs trophy as it never helped it was just a nuisance to all the players.

I rarely even had the Assist Trophies come up in Brawl, although I never played the game very much. I hope that if there are more of them here, then they will come up more often.
