Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games

No info on the 3DS version yet...maybe there really won't be one. It just seems too likely there will though, weird they haven't said anything of it yet.

November seems like a good release though, being just a few months before the olympics as Luma mentioned. Sir Metal would definitely like Metal Sonic returning if he even likes these games.

I still think there will be a 3DS version however it was not shown on the release chart with the other 3DS games.
However that might reveal the 3DS version in an upcoming Nintendo Direct.
Also the intro was not shown at E3 so it's more likely that were getting new characters this time around.

I'm pretty excited for this game as I prefer the Winter Olympics. Yeah, I'm more of a Winter person. I'm not sure which version I will get yet, assuming there's going to be a 3DS version that is. I hope there it has some great unique Dream Events again.

The Wii U version is coming out in November and if there's a 3DS version it will likely be out before the Sochi games start.

There doesn't seem to be that much that's changed really, they showed like one new event, so I'm not sure if I'm actually going  to get this one.

Maybe there still some things to show since Nintendo is working more on this game then the past ones?
Also only 8 dream events when Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter games had 11.  
Also when the trailer said 16 events are the counting all of the different snowboarding and skating events? If so some of them will be removed for Figure Skating Pairs and Snowboard Slopestyle.

Also since we did not seen the opening there could be some new characters.

In fact it would be smart of Nintendo added Diddy Kong since Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze.
Also since Nintendo is helping more Rosalina could be added. but I still expect Birdo.

So it looks like this game will miiverse posting and maybe online play.

Also if it's real this would be the first game to have the Nintendo logo over the Sega logo.
So I hope Sega does the Sonic dream events and Nintendo does the Mario dream events and if there are are new characters on the roster I hope Nintendo picks the ones for the Mario side and Sega picks the ones for the Sonic side. Since Sega has picked all the characters in the past.

That boxart doesn't look official to me, with the logo on the top-left corner overlapping the top of the boxart. Plus the only game in the series to have a Nintendo logo rather than a SEGA logo, so I'm thinking it's fake.

That makes complete sense including the Olympics logo except for the Nintendo logo.
The IOC's strict rules state that it must be in the corner of the box art.
But SEGA produces the game, it's fake.

Yes there is no 3DS version, since the July trailer said only for Wii U.
Also, I think it has the Nintendo logo since there publishing the game this time but, the box art really should have the Nintendo and Sega logos for once.

I don't see why it doesn't, considering each game in the series (I'm assuming) was developed by both Nintendo AND Sega.

I find it strange there is no 3DS version of this though...I guess they didn't feel like making separate versions of the game.

Maybe it's better to focus their attention on one version so that they can throw their best into it rather than making another version with different activities...or just for simplistic's sake.
