So has anyone tried the Yoshi's Island DLC yet? If so, what were your thoughts about it?

Also, what do you think the Zelda DLC would be like? Obviously Zelda is absolutely nothing like Sonic, so I can't really imagine it. Perhaps it would just use some of the Zelda weapons or something...

The Yoshi's Island level was fun.
I beat it first try.
You don't get to play it again after you beat it until you collect 999 rings or something.

I guess that's what happens when you get free DLC. :PBut that is annoying, what if two people wanted to play the level on one console?

Luma, were there any unique concepts in the Yoshi's Island DLC that weren't actually in Yoshi's Island, or is it all directly from that game?

I resized them.

Considering they've already put that up as official artwork online, it doesn't really make much sense to have you win them in some iOS game. If they're going to do that, they should at least be exclusive artwork you can only get through that game.

That's cool how they give you free wallpapers but, why would Sega give out Lost World wallpaper and not Dash wallpaper.

Well, they were promoting Sonic Lost World back in November.
The logo was changed to read "Sonic Lost World Sonic Dash" until December.
Zazz was and still is a boss in the game.
There was a global challenge where you could earn these wallpapers.

I guess it's based off of Skyward Sword for the most part. It looks alright, but kinda boring. Especially when you compare it to the actual Zelda games. But free DLC is just fine by me lol.

It looks decent for what it is. Does anyone think that there might be more DLC for the year of Sonic? Like a Mario level, Kirby level or even a DK level.

^ Of course it's just a regular year. He's talking about the fact that it's the Year of Sonic, at least that's what SEGA is calling this year.

@Gameguy
There might be a couple, but not that many more. It would be difficult to have shooters, racing, RPGs and a ton of other genres fit in. I'm surprised they have a Zelda one really.

According to an interview with one of the developers of Sonic Lost World, there will be no more DLC for the game. Although he says 3, I'm pretty sure they're counting the NiGHTS bonus as DLC as well, meaning there will be no more. Here's a portion of the interview where he says so:

Takashi Izuka wrote:You can see from our design of the DLC introduction page on our official site, we decided from the beginning that we would do three pieces of DLC. We are continuing to make it free, which is a bit difficult for SEGA, since both Yoshi’s Island Zone and The Legend of Zelda Zone were both in collaboration with Nintendo, but SEGA doesn’t have any kind of tradeout from there

I really wasn't expecting more DLC anyway.
