    Well uh, that sucks, now there's barely any games releasing for the rest of the year on Wii U. :/ Oh well, not that big a deal as I wasn't planning to get this launch day anyway.

    I guess it looks alright, but way too similar to DKCR. I may not wind up getting this, there's many platformers coming to Wii U I'd prefer to purchase anyway (Rayman Legends and Super Mario 3D World)

    Idk about that as DKCR seemed to have Dixie Kong hover for longer then she seems to from what I saw in the above video. For me I suppose it depends on if this looks more like DKCR seemed to have played out & so far there are some similarities but the boss battles look to be a tad different; so atmo I'm not too sure weather I'm interested in getting this game or not. Right now I'm on the fence about it.

    Dixie Kong wasn't in DKCR at all. Razz Unless you were thinking about DKC3 on the SNES?

    Well Dixie Kong was in DKC2 for the SNES first ya'know. Besides you ppl confuse me using too many shorthand versions of the name for any game. Us gamers are lazy about doing that & it srsly needs to stop..... x.x

    Oh, well I never played Donkey Kong Country 2, so I wouldn't know much about it. And I guess you're right, but I figured you'd know I was talking about Returns. Sorry for the confusion. :p

    Dixie Kong's bubble pop gun is a throw back to the older Donkey games 2 and 3 were she would chew bubble gum if you did not move for a while.

    Here's some gameplay of Dixie Kong.









    I like the lava level and the mine cart stage and the backround was cool in the last stage IGN played.

    I play on getting the game since the only other game that I want for Wii U in spring of 2014 is Mario Kart 8 at this time.

    I also think Dixie Kong might be in Mario Kart 8 and Smash Bros since they give her a trailer for this game.

    Bayonetta 2 may be releasing around that time as well, so I'm going to hold off on this until I know for sure.

    Anyway, I like the lava level too. I'm wondering when they'll reveal that fourth character...

    Amazon might have show the 4th character.

    As you can it see it might be Cranky Kong. If it is though who will run the shop Funky Kong or the pig. I would rather it be Kiddy Kong  since Cranky works best on the sidelines.

    Well that is...uh...strange. XD He's probably the weirdest choice for a fourth character with all the other characters available such as Funky Kong. But as long as it isn't Kiddy Kong, I don't care who they choose.

    Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze will be out on February 21st in North America.



    It's cool how Cranky can use his cane to walk on spikes and sounds like the retro guy was hinting at a 5th character.
