Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D

Donkey Kong Country Returns is being remade on the 3DS.



I wanted a new Donkey Kong game, but this is better then no new Donkey Kong.

This will be perfect for me, I never got a chance to pick it up for the Wii, and since the 3DS is kind of lacking when it comes to titles... this will be just ideal!

I want it to be called Donkey Kong Country Returns Returns.

I'm disappointed, I was kinda expecting something from Retro Studios that wasn't a remake...3D is cool, but still.

Was it Retro that made the Metroids?

^ They made the Metroid Prime games, yes.

Retro also were the people who added all the retro stages to MK7. That company are making some great games... I can't wait to see what they're doing for Wii U..

Oh yes. I hope they bring back F-Zero. Even though I've never played it...

F-Zero would be cool I guess, but I'd really like to see a new Metroid game for Wii U, even if I don't play Metroid that much...it's better than F-Zero anyway imo.

I think if retro did an F-Zero game I'd want to to recreate the controls of the NES one, which would be amazingly hard to do for a modern racing game.

I'd assume the controls would be at least a little different because of the gamepad. (assuming it would be a Wii U game).

I'd like to see what the could do with the gamepad. It sounds like it could be interesting.

I doubt that's what their next project would be anyway, since Miyomoto swayed them more towards Zelda beforehand (Which it isn't).

Yeah, that's why I would want a new Metroid, it could be more interesting or fun with the gamepad. F-Zero...doesn't seem like they could do much of anything creative with it.
