by It's similar, just not the same as the SNES version. It's a more modernized version of it, really. But considering it's a remake of DKC Returns, it really doesn't have much connection to the original games for SNES.

I also thought it was odd at first, but like Queen said...kids will be there, so will other people if they wanted to try it. Putting it near the monkeys would've been a good idea though.

If you actually want to see it, there is now a video of the first 45 minutes of DKCR 3D. I haven't checked to see whether it's exactly the same as the Wii version, it's probably just a bit different.
