E3 is totally the best place to announce new games. Razz I wouldn't really watch the Nintendo Directs anyway, I only actually watch the whole thing sometimes...but it definitely seems like Nintendo is making lots of them.

When you do a Wii data transfer to Wii U, does it cover all your data you made when you were using Wii games on the Wii U before doing a data transfer? Because I kinda want my downloaded Wii games on my Wii U, but I've made progress on other games on my Wii U. I probably should've done the data transfer before playing any Wii games, but never really thought of it.

I want to hear some peoples opinions on the Wii U.

I don't have an opinion as I don't own a Wii U(prolly never will) but I am merely curious. My observations of discussion on the Wii U over the internet suggest that it is a failure. When I compare the 3DS and Wii U together; personally, I find the 3DS to be a success. Although, the former has been out longer...

Well, for the Wii U itself, I personally think it's a great console. The gameoad is innovative, and I really like how some Wii U games use it. Miiverse is also pretty cool, even though I myself don't use it. The problem is not with the Wii U right now, but more with games for the Wii U. It currently only has a few good titles, some of which aren't even exclusives. (however those are still better with the gamepad imo). Eventually there will be more better games for it, but currently there aren't that many. I'm expecting Smash Bros. and the 3D Mario game to change that, as well as other games.

    Details on the system update:

Loading times will be improved when switching between software or when returning to the Wii U menu.
The ability to copy and move data between USB drives will be added.
The Wii U will automatically install new software that you have downloaded in the background while playing a game.
Software updates will automatically be downloaded (even without starting the software).
You can immediately access Wii Mode while the Wii U is starting up if you hold the B button.
The Wii U will continue downloading and installing software even if the system is turned off.
The Wii U Virtual Console will be added the day after the update.

I hate triple posting...but is anyone having the problem I'm having with the Wii U?

When I tap on an app, it opens a box that says "starting software" for around 10 seconds, and then after that, it just freezes for another 10 seconds, before finally opening the application.

^It's happened a few times for me too.
But not repeatedly over and over again.
Try unplugging it then plugging it back in.
    That may help.

I guess I'll try that when I use my Wii U, but I forgot to mention it only happens on the apps in the top portion of the screen, not on the browser, etc.

Sometimes apps crash on me too it's only happened twice and unplugging the Wii U & plugging it back in seems to help reset the Wii U game pad & everything runs fine afterwards for my end of things. I'm sure it's a launch bug that'll be fixed with an update after E3 would be my guess.

Well apps are bound to crash anyway, it happens on everything, so it isn't surprising. But I do hope some other problems like that are fixed in an update soon.

I hope there's a lot of new games announced for Wii U at E3, there's currently none I'm interested in other than Pikmin 3. (which I will be getting on launch day)

A Wii U system update has just been released, it's not the next big update which is supposed to be in June, it's just an update to improve the stability of the Wii U. I'm kinda hoping that this fixes a few problems I've had (other than the one I mentioned earlier in this thread) Just a small update though.

I'll wait until Saturday to update it.
At least it's not a big update.

I agree with that, I wouldn't want to wait for a long time for it to update, if it were to be a big update. The last update took at least an hour and a half. This one didn't take long.

And I'm still kinda bored with my Wii U currently...
