New Breath of Fire 6... But it's an MMO

A New Breath Of Fire Is Coming. It's an Online Mobile Game.

After twelve years, for better or worse, we're getting another Breath of Fire. On their Network Game Conference stream, Capcom announced that Breath of Fire 6, the latest in the long-standing JRPG franchise, will be an online touch RPG for smartphones, tablets and PCs, released in 2014. Thought I'd post this for the fellow JRPG fans who are here. Personally I'm a bit upset that BoF 6 will be only available as a pc/tablet/phone game & not one for the Wii U or PS3 as the earlier Breath of Fire games were on BOTH consoles prior. D:

Never played these games, but I think it's a good decision as many people purchase games on smartphones and tablets.

But bad in pretty much any other way, I'm sure the touch screen controls don't work too well, plus it's not available on consoles.

Well I WISH BoF 6 would release for the 3DS at least. D: I love the Breath of Fire franchise cause the story is always engaging & very interesting. ^^

Well apparently Breath of Fire II is coming to Wii U Virtual Console at least, so there is that, even if it isn't the brand new game.

Yea? I already have that from when I downloaded it via my Wii console & moved everything over to my Wii U before my Wii's blu tooth module died. D: XD

Still I kinda want to play the new BoF 6..... Even if I'm not much of an MMO fan.. xp

Capcom makes a bad move one again.
How hard would it have been to put the game on the Wii U, PS3 and Xbox 360.
I don't think I will be buying this game since I can't really play games on my PC and hate playing games on my phone.

Well considering it's using touch screen controls for phones and tablets, and similar controls with the mouse on PC, Wii U would be a perfect fit for this title. I don't think they could really make it work on PS3/Xbox 360, as they don't have a touch screen.

I also wouldn't be able to get this on PC, it's 10 years old running Windows XP, it wouldn't be able to handle any game.
