Best Video Game Translations

Since most games come from Japan, people have to translate them to English in order to sell these games. Which of these translations did you like the most?

My Favorite: Final Fantasy 6



Other than some errors like 'Pheonix Down' to 'Fenix Down', this translation was pretty amazing. It also produced famous lines like "Son of a Submariner!!"

My least favorite should be Final Fantasy 4's original localization. They censored too many things from the script which made this game not as fun as the original. The only good translation is the "Spoony Bard" part.

Mind you. I don't believe any fan translation is the best. I find them all equally great. It gives the player a chance to play a game you wouldn't have been able to otherwise.

Dangan Ronpa 1(official English release for Vita is afoot it seems)

Various Fire Emblem titles

Tales of Phantasia(PSX) - Apparently, translators are working on getting ToPX AND NDX translated. I'm really looking forward to that.

Hm...I wouldn't really say I have a favorite. I feel that many are translated well. As for fan translations, only one I've really seen is Mother 3's, which was okay.

Chrono Trigger is my favorite. My least favorite; though it does get a lot of meme's is Zero Wing. I love the meme's but the game's translation is just downright awful. XD
