Ghost hunting: aka Episodes

In the game you can go on quests in order to help out residence of the area's that become unlocked to you. When you take on requests, you end up using a 'wand' that you get from Master Yen Sid. On the missions you use the A button to attack, the [right] shoulder button to recoup lost HP, & the [left] shoulder button in order to 'spin' your character if you so desire.

The ghosts go from being easy to hard as the game progresses, & no there's no Poltergust 3000 upgrade in sight. Only wand upgrades as the game progresses.

The ghosts, when battling them remind me a bit of Kingdom Heart monsters with a touch of Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon ghosts: but it could just be me. xD



Here's an image of me out on one of the episodic missions. The circles on the left are your HP bar, the stars on the right are your MP bar. The red jewel at the top you collect them & at the end of the area your exploring: after you defeat a boss ghost you use them in order to open up a HUGE treasure chest in order to obtain more items in order to create more stuff with (like food, clothes, shoes, furniture, etc).

The next time I head out to do some more "ghost busting" (lol) I'll see if I can take some better miiverse captures of the ghosts. ^^ It's kind of not easy getting pics of ghosts since usually some of them are kind of fast. ^^;

Do they just keep coming forward at you? That would seem kind of boring after a little while. But it does seem like an interesting part of the game, something extra to do.

No, just some of them do not all. Some of them will come at you, while others zoom around & then try to hit you from behind, others will jump up real high & then try to land on you: squishing you, while others will spit spike balls at you while trying to defeat them. Heck even the boss monsters have different attacks & what not. So no, none of the ghosts ever attack you exactly in the same way.

^Ok is it just me or does this boss look like he should be in Kingdom Hearts instead? o.O xD

Well those screens make it look less boring than the one you posted before. XD So due to that last one saying "Final Boss Ghost" does that mean you're completely finished with this ghost hunting quest? Or can you still go back and continue it?

Oh no your not done at all if anything you have far more baddies to defeat. It's just the end of the first chapter was all. :3 But you can go back into the episodes & beat up ghosties as many times as you want to really. I do so that I can get more stuff in order to be able to craft more clothes, furniture & the like of course. ;3

Can you team up with any characters when you go out on these adventures; like in KH's?

No not really. When you go out on these adventures: your going out alone. I love it, it makes me feel like the characters have enough confidence in my taking care of business on my own. :3
