Amiibo

Yay, more pointless Amiibo because they already exist in another pose. They look good, but I won't be getting them since they're for Mario Party which I'm also not planning to get.

They look way better than their Smash counterparts, and will work in Mario Party 10.
Just because you don't like the game (and you've never played it) doesn't mean they're pointless.

Wave 3B is online only for most Targets and GameStop pushed back wave 3B until the 20th. So Toys R Us is the only store that has wave 3B in right now.

Also the Mario Party 10 versions will likely replace the Smash versions in stores by the end of Spring.

No, I have nothing against the series, I just don't plan to buy it. But they ARE pointless, as their Smash counterparts can already do the exact same thing. They could've just released ones in a Mario line for characters that weren't already in Smash. They do look good, but I'd just rather them release ones that have a new purpose.

Amiibo only save for one game.
You'd have to buy two DKs or Rosalinas if you wanted to use them in both Smash and Mario Party.

^ I mean, I guess...OR Nintendo could allow you to have multiple saves on the Amiibo by just slightly increasing the amount of data it can hold. It really doesn't have to be much, but they can currently barely hold anything at all, which is the reason why you can only have one save on them at once.

Select scenes from NES and SNES titles will be playable by scanning an Amiibo on your Wii U in the future. There will also be limited edition one-run Amiibo Source

This is interesting, but I'm not sure exactly how it's supposed to work. I guess it's like a demo if you own an Amiibo of a character from that game, or something like that. It's interesting, but I doubt I'd ever use it when I get an Amiibo.

Not sure how I feel about the one-run Amiibo.

The NES and Super NES games like the Master Pieces from Smash Wii U and in my area Rosalina want faster then Link and Fox so I guess it's different everywhere. I also did not think Mac would make the top 10 in Japan since he's not that popular of character there.

FINALLY the card Amiibo are coming! I'm hoping they'll be fairly cheap. I'm surprised Fox sold really well in Europe, but isn't even on the top 10 anywhere else. Kind of strange.

Apparently the Gold Mario Amiibo will be Wal-Mart exclusive. >_>



Well, I wasn't planning to get it anyway, but I still don't get the whole Amiibo exclusivity thing, it doesn't make much sense, they should stock them at all retailers.

There's no space for every amiibo at retailers and the store gets people to line up when this happens. Still Walmart has been the worst place for Amiibo and the other day I only saw 1 Luigi, 1 Zelda and 2 Pikachu.
