^ Nope. HAL is actually not owned by Nintendo, they just have a good relationship with them. Nintendo owns Kirby and Mother though, I believe.

HAL owns Kirby, I know that for sure.
But, Nintendo owns some of his rights.
You'd think though that after Iwata became President, that he'd try to buy HAL.
Not that Kirby or EarthBound would be very popular on other consoles.

Eh, I guess if I ever get those Amiibo I'll scan them in. But I never use Miis anyway. It's definitely a nice addition for those that do use them though!
