Re: Ask Luma Party (3)
What happened to recruiting members on TNFS to play Splatoon private battle? I know you were doing that a few months ago.

Re: Ask Luma Party (3)
Have you ever played Splatoon with players that just camp at the home base?

Top 5 reasons to get Splatoon for someone who's deliberating getting it but hasn't had enough push to go for it? (My shooter experience is honestly limited to just TF2 lol)

Re: Ask Luma Party (3)
Hmmm... Let's see.
1. The "Hero Mode" Octo Valley has a great feel to it, it's not easy, but it's not hard.
2. The music is brilliant!
3. They update it about once a week, maybe more, with new weapons, gear, etc.
4. 6 different types of weapons, Shooters, Rollers, Chargers, Blasters, Splatlings, Sloshers.
5. Ranked Battle modes are really fun to find out what you like to use, I love blasting people with my E-Liter 3K Scope in a Tower Control.

"Shooters, Rollers, Chargers, Blasters, Splatlings, Sloshers."
If you don't mind, could you explain these six weapon types?

Re: Ask Luma Party (3)
Shooters - Just basic shooters, the sub-weapons help make them more favourable, they shoot the ink, some have better range.
Rollers - Like Paint Rollers in real life, you roll the ink, but first by pressing ZR, if sprays ink,the bigger ones are more powerful but slower, small ones are faster but weaker.
Chargers - Good for long range, especially in Ranked Battles, but in Turf War, they're not useful, as they aren't good for close-range or covering area well. Ones with Scopes are great for Tower Control.
Blasters - I don't like them at all. They shoot balls of ink that explode in the air. Good for knocking people out, but shoots slowly.
Splatlings - There's only one at the moment, but datamining revealed more are coming. You load them up, and they fire automatically until the load is done, very powerful, but not the best for Turf War.
Sloshers - Like a bucket, good for covering lots area, but slow, not with precise aim.

Re: Ask Luma Party (3)
I know this is your ask thread, but I'd add the fact that the game itself is just much more interesting and unique than most other shooters, and it really does give you a different experience. (I personally have a ton of fun with the game every time I play, and still get hyped before playing it every time, that doesn't generally happen with me, and I've played it over 130 hours) And each weapon, map, and mode feels different, it's fun to try out different weapons for different modes and maps.
Anyway question time, do you think Tingle and Ashley will be getting an Amiibo?

Re: Ask Luma Party (3)
No, now I believe they just added costumes that don't use amiibo at all.
