    Mighty No. 9 Mighty_No_9_splash
    Releases this April for Wii U, 3DS, PS3, PS4, PS Vita, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
    It's developed by Comcept, headed by Keiji Inafune, Mega Man's creator.
    Seeing as Inafune and a bunch of ex-Capcom developers are working on it, it looks interesting.
    Capcom is just deserting Mega Man lately.
    Anyone buying it?

    We didn't have a thread for this already? I thought we did...regardless, it looks really good now. They've really polished it since it's first reveal, and it looks like a real Mega Man successor. I'll probably get it eventually...

    Wow, they originally said April release date, now it's September 15th for North America and September 18th for Europe, but the 3DS version will come out later.

    Comcept need to get their focus right, they have Beck showing up everywhere else, yet forgot about their game. XD
    Won't be getting it myself.

    Mighty No. 9 No9_1_3ds_esrb

    They look nice for being a lower budget game.

    They could've found a better publisher than Deep Silver. XD
    The boxarts look cool though.

    @Luma
    They forgot their game? The fact that the release date was pushed back doesn't mean they've forgotten about their game...they're working hard to finish it, they don't want it to end up a horrible mess.

    @Gameguy
    Nice boxarts!

    Zero what I'm saying is, while they're having Beck make cameo appearances in other games, announcing comic books, TV shows, etc. they hadn't said anything about the game in a long time.

    ^ Personally I take that as a good thing. It means they're focusing on the game rather than releasing tons of information about it or spending time making trailers/gameplay videos that take time away from development. They're not the ones making all of the other things the character is appearing in, they're outsourcing him to other companies to popularize him more.

    The game is looking good, I'm surprised it's still not releasing until September though, it looks pretty ready. But oh well, it's not too long to wait.

    Development was finished in April Zero, they need 2 months advance for retail release, now they're just making DLC...

    ^ 2 months? That's 5 months, but whatever you say. Razz I suppose the retail release will make it take slightly longer, but you'd think it could be out earlier.

    They could have just released the DLC through updates and have the game out a little sooner.

    Comcept has revealed why the Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita versions have been delayed.

    "Right, so the 3DS version, as well as the PlayStation Vita version, is being handled by a different company called Engine Software, a developer based in the Netherlands. They're handling the porting work. Well, it's not really porting work anymore. We actually had to rebuild the game from scratch because of the difference between the console versions and the handheld versions. It'll be exactly the same. Naturally, there might be little bit of a graphical downgrade just because it's on a handheld, but the gameplay and everything else is intact."
