I voted for Binding Blade, I always wanted to play that one, but of course it was never localized...so it'll be fun to watch you play it.

Genealogy of the Holy War and Binding Blade are tied with two votes each, so please vote in the new poll. I'll keep it open until Wednesday, I'd like to get started by then.

Oh yeah, I also voted for Binding Blade. It's definitely the Japan-only Fire Emblem game I want to play most, but I guess seeing you play it with screenshots is better than not playing it at all.

I wanted Holy War, but oh well, it would be nice to see a game that I've never played.

Binding Blade won with four votes against one, so it looks like that's the game I'll be playing this time. If this playthrough is popular, I might play Genealogy of the Holy War once I finish it (or maybe one of the others).
I'll update this post with the first part in a few hours unless someone else replies to it.

^ Ha! Reply!
I'd rather you just make a new post though, that way we know you've updated it. It's just easier that way imo.

I'm done with the first chapter, so here we go! It's really long though, so click on your own risk.
- Chapter 1: Lance does everything:
But of course...
Hey, the intro is translated now! I'm not going to screenshot all of it, so here's a summary:
Hero saved mankind with divine aid, a sword of light, the Fire Emblem that surpasses time and space somehow and pierced the darkness.
But of course, it's not like the game is called Fire Emblem or something.
Title screen, nothing special.
Starting the first chapter.
Because the humans had to be human and ruin everything. Again, not going to post every screen.
Stuff were distorted, the humans won and took control of the continent. And 1000 years later, this game happens.
It says "Elibe" on the world map now. Cool.
Let's have a look at the countries!
Everyone who has played the first GBA Fire Emblem knows. And we'll see later, so no worries.
Military. Stupid kings. Fire Emblem. Swords. DRAGONS
Snow! And mercenaries.
And shoot people.
Can't have a continent without war.
This IS a Fire Emblem game, so obviously.
That's not nice.
Not that either.
And we can't have that, can we?
Hm.
Suddenly, a wild Lord appears.
He saw his growth rates. They made him ill.
Are they really 38?
Finally!
Snazzy chapter title.
By series tradition, the first (or second) chapter has to be a bandit chapter.
Random rabbit bandit complains about what castles are made for.
I had a RNG blessed Eliwood once. He would have knocked you all down with an Iron Lance. But that's off topic.
Some banter, and some bandit leader talk.
Because a group of like ten bandits can seize one whole castles just like that.
Random bandit wants to destroy stuff.
Per series tradition, he has to destroy a village. Happens in a lot of games.
Merlinus!?
Eliwood!?
"'Cuz you would almost be good if you joined in the first chapter. And we can't have that."
"But I can fight and help Roy!"
"No, you can't fight. No, you can't just burn everything with that Fire tome. No, you wouldn't be helpful if you did."
Never mind, that's a good point.
Roy won't save anyone.
"Send Lance."
"Send a lance? But Roy can't wield lances!"
"I said; send Lance."
"But..."
Oh wait, he actually sent Lance. He's equipped with a lance too.
Some talk about what they should do, if Eliwood is safe, and, you guessed it, a fight begins.
A look at the gang...
Using.
Using because I have to.
Using.
Triple benching! Marcus trades his Iron Sword to Roy first.
Lance begins the chapter.
And leaves a Fighter with 2 HP for someone else to finish.
In this case, Allen.
The boss isn't happy about this.
Like that will be difficult...
Two random missing bandits attack during the enemy phase.
With those stats, it won't be difficult to go through this guy.
Roy tries to fight. Emphasis on "tries".
Bors visits the "Money is important" guy's house. For some reason. Houses never give items, just information. Useful or not.
And he shares his words of wisdom. Fighting with your fists doesn't exist in Fire Emblem unless you're an untransformed Laguz in FE10.
Lance finishes of some random fool.
Allen follows his example. He wants to be like Lance.
This chapter is going well. Not that it's difficult.
Some random bow fool aims at Lance and hits. But 'tis but a scratch.
*Player curses the Knight class' 4 movement*
Roy tries to be useful. He does that a lot. Tries, I mean.
Lance gives this game a higher age rating. I'm glad it's not realistic.
Allen finishes off the same unfortunate archer.
Lance got a lot of scratches. He's working hard in this chapter...
Bors can FINALLY reach and visit the village.
Generic village girl gives us money. We approve.
"Village rhymes with pillage!"
I forgot about these two. I don't want them to support each other, so I move Wolt away.
Allen gets this playthrough's first level up.
... And it's awful.
Lance gets the second. Sadly, it's not much better.
Roy finishes off some guy.
Roy avoids some other guy.
Roy is too weak to defeat this guy in one hit, so Lance tries to throw a Javelin at him, but misses.
Roy attacks anyway and gets a decent level up. For being Roy, that is.
Then he learned how to double, thanks to that level up.
Lance uses a Vulnerary to heal 10 HP.
Allen wants to follow his example and trades for it.
Roy wants to be as cool as Red and Green, so he follows their example and heals himself too.
I leave those two next to each other so they can start building up support points.
Axe guys attacks Lance.
Lance is not amused. Lances don't have feelings. So he uses a Sword to counterattack.
Axe guy's identical twin brother attacks Lance, but fails. Despite not having emotions, Lance finds this amusing.
You can't see it, both those two Fighters around Allen and Lance have 2 HP left.
Roy shoves a sword up this bandit's face for EXP.
Lance wants some EXP too.
This just looked funny.
Roy gets another, not as good level up.
Allen wants to attack the boss...
... But on second thought, let's not do that. Let's wait instead.
In Fire Emblemduring the enemy phase, boss attacks you!
Hey, we're not pathetic...! Oh wait, we are. Except Lance and Allen.
Allen gets a flesh would and attacks the boss from behind. I can't tell if he's a knight or not.
Allan and Lance switch places.
And Lance MISSES. Not cool. Binding Blade is known for this.
And gets another bad level up as reward.
He tries to do some chip damage with a Javelin, but misses both times.
Roy and his Rapier want a word with the boss.
OMG Roy crits.
And he crits again!
... Now that I think about it, I think he's scripted to crit the boss. Still cool though.
Wolt traded his and Bors' Vulns to Roy, so now Lance and Allen want a reward for being awesome.
Roy can finally seize the throne.
"Daaaaad, I'm home!"
No. Eliwood must be a pretty bad dad if he can't even recognise his only son.Or maybe it's because of his illness.
Thank good Ness. He's a good kid.
"Because I didn't clean my room before going to Ostia?"
We have soldiers??
Yes!
Yes!!
...
I forgot that if no one sits on the throne, anyone could just sit down on it and seize it. At least if they're "Lords".
Objection!
Hold it- Oh, never mind.
Just like in FE1.
Oh.
Uh.
"Can I go now?"
"Show them that you're not one of the worst Lords in the series! ...Ok, son?"
Well, that was easy.
"Take THAT, R-I mean, take care."
"So can I please go now?"
Phew! The chapter is finally over.
It ended up being a lot longer than I had expected, I will try to make the other chapters shorter. I'd appreciate any feedback.
Oh, and if there are any units you want me to use, feel free to suggest it. I may even listen.

Great playthrough so far! The only things I want to suggest is that you should probably put simmilar images next to each other rather than putting them seperately. This would look much nicer in my opinion.

^ It looks fine in my opinion. But it's just kind of long, I stil_l haven't read through all of it..the next one should be a bit more compact.
