Upcoming gear

In the Splatoon Direct it was reveled that more gear items would be added over time. It seems like a Squid Girl Costume will be added into the game at some point for people in Japan who have the game.

Whaaaat? That's awesome! Hopefully it'll come to the west too! I see no reason why not. I honesty never expected a Squid Girl crossover, now they have this, and that manga, and probably other things in the future. It's great.

^ Yep, that. It's a manga by Ika Musume, and I believe a pretty popular one. He even made his own Splatoon fan art when it was first announced, so it makes sense he'd probably try to get Nintendo to do something with Squid Girl!

The gear is pretty cool and maybe the Squid Girl/ boy outfit also be included.

Some of that looks very similar to gear already in the game, I wonder if they're just mixing/matching in the picture? Either way I'm excited they're adding so much gear. And also only one day until the update!

A shirt based on a Gamecube Nintendo game might be on the way soon.

Well it is Nikki, it depends on whether she edited it into the game using hacks, or if she found it in the game's data through hacking. She knows what she's doing but sometimes doesn't specify, so it may or may not be real. But it'd be a pretty cool shirt!
