    Sir Christopher Lee, who acted in numerous films including the Lord of the Rings series, has passed away at the age of 93. Source

    RIP. He's a great actor and I'm sure was a great person. He may have been at a fairly old age anyway, but that doesn't make it less sad to see another great person passing away so suddenly. My condolences to his family.

    Rip Sir Lee and I'm sure has family took the news better since he lived longer then most people do. It's still sad to hear the news of someone passing that made a big impact though.

    I found this out through facebook; I was so shocked. :/ R.I.P Good good sir; your acting talent shall be sorely missed.

    Sad news indeed Sad . Quite apart from being so talented and successful, it sounds like he was a very likeable person - even if many of the characters he played weren't.
