So, earlier today we had our final show (Sunday show was earlier) and did set striking. I legitimately think this was our best show, Saturday was the worst, Friday was somewhere in the middle. We did have one mess up during my big scene where my daughter accidentally spilled the entire pitcher of water when pouring it, but we covered it up REALLY well, in fact, we made it a pretty important part of our scene despite having seemingly nothing to do with what we were talking about in said scene. (criminal children being a product of their environment)
Set striking went pretty efficiently as well, only took us about 3 hours total, everyone was really helpful, surprisingly so actually. (considering a few people in our cast...)
I'm really sad it's all over, I've become really attached to both the play and cast/crew members, I'm really going to miss seeing them so often, they're truly amazing people and feel like family now. Honestly this is probably the closest I've become to castmates in any show I've been in. Luckily I'll be able to see a couple of them quite a bit, most of them however I won't which is pretty unfortunate. :/ Really gonna miss this show too. It's such an interesting play and I've never been in anything else like it.
