It looks like the leaks are true and Twilight Princess will release on March 4th with an option to buy a bundled version with a Wolf Link amiibo. You also get a soundtrack if you pre-order.

The game looks does not look the best. I really want to know what the amiibo do though.

Am I the only one who thinks it still doesn't look very good graphically? It might be HD but it doesn't look like they actually improved the graphics or models...they just ported the game and put an HD filter on is more what it looks like. :/

But that Wolf Link Amiibo is awesome!

I barely even noticed the HD until I saw Epona.

I personally think it's way too early for a remake of Twilight Princess, it doesn't look that much better (to be fair, the original looked pretty good). But I guess it can attract some new players, Twilight Princess is still an amazing game. I'm not getting it, the GC game is good enough for me.

I wonder if there will be confusion when Wii Twilight Princess players play this without knowing about the mirrored world?

Some new details on the Amiibo content:

    - using the Wolf Link amiibo at a certain place will allow you to play “Thorough Battle: Trial of the Beast”
    - clear this while owning the “Giant Wallet” and you’ll earn the “Bottomless Wallet”
    - this wallet lets you hold up to 9,999 Rupees
    - Link’s health inside normal dungeons can be recovered by the amount of hearts you preserved in the exclusive dungeon
    - import some of the data from Twilight Princess HD into the upcoming new Zelda game.
    - importable contents are unknown as of now
    - only the Wolf Link amiibo is capable of storing data to import
    - scanning other Zelda-related amiibo can be done once per day in Twilight Princess HD
    - Link and Toon Link fully replenish arrows
    - Zelda and Sheik completely restore hearts
    - Ganondorf causes twice as much damage from enemies
    - Wolf Link amiibo has a record of journeys
    - by touching the amiibo, you'll be able to continue the adventure

I've also seen some information that the game features a new dungeon, titled “Twilight Cave,” though this new dungeon can only be unlocked through the use of the new Wolf Link amiibo. sauce

^ That's just a rumor at this point, it hasn't been confirmed. Although it does come from a pretty good source originally so it's probably actually true. And I mean, it would make sense.

It might not be true since we now have some details on what amiibo do.

So you pretty much get max rupees and I guess Ganondorf can help make the game more difficult.

Here is the early concept of Midna.

The early version looks kind of ugly and I'm glad it was changed to say the least.

Eww that one on the right looks horrible. I'm really glad they changed her design, she looks way better with the final one.

I.. honestly like the design on the right. Not as a design for Midna though, but that design would work well as another character. Maybe a different imp or monster. I dislike the design on the left, while it looks close to the final design that I really like, anything that is different just looks off. Her face is different and the ears aren't that great hairy with a resemblance to Delphox from Pokémon (I really like Delphox though). I really like braids so the ponytail is fine. The design on the right could also work well as a character in Majora's Mask.

^ Oh, I mean, as an enemy the design on the right would be really cool. But for a character like Midna a design like that feels too weird. That looks like something I would go up to fight, not use as a guide character.

So reviews are out, and they all seem to be saying mostly the same thing, being that the upgrades make it the best version of the game, but that the game itself isn't the best in the series.

So it seems like the critics finally got it into their skull that Twilight Princess isn't very good compared to the other games. Razz Although I'm sure most people will continue to not agree with me. Of course, it is just an opinion. Although no matter what you think you have to agree the graphics have aged horribly so this remake was kind of needed. XD
