Hey! Pikmin

The first spinoff game in the Pikmin series will be released in 2017. This time Olimar will travel through a side- scroller themed world.



I guess this is something smaller for Pikmin fans since it seems like Pikmin 4 has been put on hold for now. It does kind of suck how there only seems to be the basic Pikmin though.

I swear if this is what Pikmin 4 was, I'm going to be insanely disappointed. I mean it definitely looks like fun, but I've been clamoring for a full new Pikmin experience for awhile now. If it's just a spin-off I'm excited to play it, I LOVE Pikmin and it looks really fun, I'm just worried this is taking the place of Pikmin 4 since they never mentioned it simply being a spin-off or anything.

Either way I'm buying it like launch day I need Pikmin NOW.

Hehe, and here I thought that the Pikman series wasn't 'suited' for 'the handheld'. Looks like they were wrong. :p

Hey! Pikmin will be released on July 28th.



Looks like Purple and White Pikmin did not make the cut and I'm sure the amiibo will be packed in with the game so people end up buying the game.

I predict @Zero Revolution will get this just for the amiibo alone. ;D huehuehue

I will say I do think the Amiibo looks really nice, although I do want to see more of the game itself before I just go out and buy it. They showed almost nothing in the Direct, and haven't proven that Pikmin works in a 2D space.

The demo was pretty fun even if it's a bit strange how much you need to use the stylus. Also lots of media outlets are saying the game is pretty good so it's not another Yoshi's New Island at least.

I'll definitely try out the demo but I don't know if I'm gonna pick this one up. I'm a huge fan of Pikmin but I just really don't know if this is something I'd be willing to spend $40 on.
