Reggie says Nintendo is going to have a big E3 this year

In a interview with Fox News Reggie reveled a few small details about this years E3.

Go Nintendo wrote:- Nintendo is focused on creating the next big idea
- reaction to Switch has been remarkable
- as of March 14th, when the interview was recorded, Switch was setting sales records every day for Nintendo in the U.S.
- Nintendo is going to have a big E3 this year
- E3 will be a majority opportunity for Nintendo

I really hope Reggie is telling the truth since, Nintendo has had 2 lackluster E3's even if Breath of the Wild is making headlines. Even though he is saying this something tells me the focus will end up mostly being on Splatoon 2 and Super Mario Odyssey.

Sounds good to me! I wouldn't really care if they were only focused on those two games, I'm really looking forward to them. But I think they'll also show off a few more Switch games releasing this year and early next year, and maybe the rest of the planned 3DS games.

I hope that's true. I think that'll mean we'll have some big titles being shown this year. I hope for some more new IPs although those don't usually get as much attention sadly.

I didn't know that, i hope Reggie is going to show us some more games, i also like it when that's true, super exciting isn't it? i will just have to wait and see.

Pfft, nothing but a big disappointment. Nintendo 'promised' a 'big e3' last year & it wasn't all that great impo. Personally I'd love to see KH3 announced to the Switch so that Nintendo can finally say they finally got a huge KH game released to it's system other then the 'handheld versions' that just got PS4 port re-releases anyway.

^ You're definitely not wrong, although to be fair they probably were planning to have a big E3 because Switch was going to launch that year. I do agree though. I've been disappointed with their showing for a couple years now so we'll have to wait and see. I'd also love to have Kingdom Hearts on Switch.
