Splatoon 2 Direct Thursday

A Splatoon 2 Direct has finally been confirmed to be airing this Thursday at 10 am EST! It's been assumed one is coming for awhile now so it's good that we have actual confirmation now.

Sounds like it will mostly be on things we already know. With that said I think there will be a tour of Inkopolis Square, 2 new maps and maybe one new game mode for Turf War.

I really like the new stages, shop owners, clothes, idol group and weapons. The only disappointing thing is that Port Mackerel returned over all of the stages they could have picked.

Okay about the Port Mackerel thing, I actually am kind of glad it's returning because it seems like they may be making the map much better with the sponges being added. If not then it does suck it's returning but I'm hoping it improves it because I really didn't like Port Mackerel too much originally. Again though that Splat Brella is the greatest thing I've ever seen. And I kinda like Pearl and Marina more than I liked Callie and Marie. And the Shipyard map is super cool.
