    Nintendo trademarks Empty Nintendo trademarks

It looks like some recent trademarks could give us a clue at some more games that Nintendo is working on.

My Nintendo News wrote:Nintendo Co., Ltd. has filed some brand new trademarks for various IPs. According to Japanese Nintendo, Mario Tennis, Mario Party, Paper Mario, Dr. Mario and Punch-Out!! were the ones mentioned. So why does Nintendo want to trademark these? Japanese Nintendo says that “all trademarks are for purposes of ‘video game program’ and ‘downloadable video game program’”.

Maybe a Mario Tennis on mobile next? Nd Cube is surely working on a new Mario Party, IS always starts on the next Paper Mario after the current one finishes, Where due for a new Dr. Mario title and I guess Next Level Games could be working on a new Punch-Out over Luigi's Mansion 3.

Nintendo trademarks Empty Re: Nintendo trademarks

Nintendo has grabbed trademarks for F-Zero, Pkkmin, Shin & Punishment, StarFox, Nintendogs, The Legendary Starfy, Flipnote Stuido, Yoshi's Island, Pikmin and the Smash Bros logo.

Boy, today is the day that keeps on giving, isn't it? While we don't know what the intentions are behind the trademarks, Nintendo has just registered a slew of names that all their fans should be familiar with. Check out the lineup below.
    - Nintendogs
    - The Legendary Starfy
    - Sin & Punishment
    - Flipnote Studio
    - Art Style
    - Yoshi's Island
    - Pikmin
    - F-Zero
    - StarFox
    - Smash Bros. logo

Are these just protections of brands, or are their projects in the works? We know Smash Bros. is on the way to Switch, and heard there was another Pikmin in the pipeline. With the StarFox: Grand Prix rumor from earlier today, perhaps all of these franchises/installments are going to see some new attention from Nintendo.

I'm guessing these are for Smash AT and the Masterpieces. It would be a dream come true if they where all for games though.
