by To bad you can't go online with the Wii mini; else wise it'd be easy to hack using hackmii. So of course it's not going to sell very well, every one wants to hack their Wii console.

Bad move by Nintendo of America. They should just stop selling the Wii and focus on the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS and not the Wii and Wii Mini.

I'm sure some hackers can somehow get it to to connect to the internet. So I don't see it preventing them from purchasing a Wii Mini.

I thought some news articles I read said that Wii production would continue in NA. Perhaps this is their idea of a legacy - inferior versions of the console. :/

It has been discontinued in Japan, but continues to be sold in other countries for, at the least, through the end of the year. The original Wii is still available as far as I know, so it isn't like the Wii Mini is the only version available.
