Virtual Boy

Have you ever played it?
I'm pretty sure it was just made to get sales before the N64 was released...

I don't have it, but I have played Mario Tennis on it when I went over to Nintendo Power before they closed down, my eyes aren't too sensitive, so when I played it I didn't think the black and red was too painful on the eyes.

Well, no, I haven't ever played it, and I certainly don't own it. I know it's been categorized as a failure, and seems to be quite terrible, however I do want to try it out sometime, it would be interesting. I don't actually know why they would make this anyway though, probably to get sales like Luma said...

Where did you find that out? I've never played this like I said, but I think an NES or SNES would be a lot cooler and better than this. I think people could've waited for the N64...

I never played the Virtual Boy.
However I would like to try it one day.

I don't know why they made it red and black, it would have been great if it wasn't, of early attempts at 3D.

The technology simply wasn't as good at the time, only allowing for monochromatic images with what they had done with it. Although I think if they had done more work on it, they could've actually done something that wasn't red...I know it seems annoying that way.
