Yoshi's New Island

Well uh...that's kind of cool I suppose. But I highly doubt I'm going to get this now, months after it was originally announced, the new trailer still looks boring.

It seems like the game would focus on making stuff bigger, like the Mega Egg and Giant Shy Guys.

So if there's any more other Baby characters that are playable who do you guys think they will be? I see all of the ones that were playable in DS returning and I could also see Baby Rosalina since Nintendo has been given Rosalina a ton of spotlight lately. Lastly I hope that Baby Daisy is playable.

The game is out March 14th in NA. I really don't care since the game looks terrible anyway, I'm likely not going to get it, unless it turns out to be a good game in the end. Still, I'd rather spend money on games I'm actually going to enjoy.

I'll wait for Christmas or something for this.

I have to more if the game to know if I want it or not since we only got like 2 30 second trailers so fair. It sadly looks like they just ported Yoshi's Island 1 to the 3DS and changed a few things.  

I for one will most likely get it; being a fan of the first Yoshi's Island if it's anything like how the first one played: I'll LOVE IT. I'll probably ask for it for it as a birthday gift (which btw is is in March ya know ;3 lol): unless there's some other game I want worse that is.. xp

But that may also be a problem, can't a game be too similar to one of it's predecessors? I kind of agree with Gameguy that it looks like the original was ported and slightly changed really. But then again, there has only been like 50 seconds of footage shown total for this game, who knows what it's even like at all.

It has the Nintendo Network logo so it could have some kind of online. However I think it's just for miiverse.

Best Buy had some details on their website, however I don't feel the need to post it because all of the information was known already. They said new features include giant eggs, really I don't think these add much to the game at all. If this is literally the only thing that's new in Yoshi's New Island, it seems like a rehash and not that great a game.

Nintendo Europe has announced via Twitter that the long-awaited Yoshi’s New Island will launch in Europe on March 14th. The company also published the official box-art for the game which can be seen above. Yoshi’s New Island also launches March 14th in North America.

Same day as in NA. Also same boxart other than the PEGI rating of course.

But March 14th makes it seem like they have no time to finish the game, they haven't shown ANYTHING that's NEW in the game other than the pointless giant eggs. (I know I've said this before but it's still the case now, and the game is probably finished if it's releasing that soon, so it likely isn't very good)

Every chance they've had to show something new they don't...lol. There must be nothing new in the game. Either way it's nice to get some new footage I suppose, and the Yoshi transformations.
