Awesome! Although I still kinda doubt it'll be updated tomorrow considering they haven't even told us what the update does. Razz I just hope it's important enough for us to actually be so excited about it.

    The update is now live.

    Corresponding input by USB keyboard

    Added settings Nintendo Network ID

When using the Wii-only software, Dolby Pro Logic II surround output

Now possible to start the "friends list" from the Wii U menu.

    Updated "Settings"
    - automatic receipt of the software
    - select the sound output of cable TV
    - updated audio settings

Wii U Chat now allows for headset use.

Internet browser allows you to fast-forward/rewind videos with triggers

    Save username/password for websites
It's cool how they added off tv play for Wii games but I don't like how you have to use the Wii remote.

Off-TV play for Wii games? That is AWESOME! I don't care if you have to use a Wii Remote, that's still really cool that they were even able to add that. I love it. :3

As for the other things, meh, don't really care all that much.

I tried out Super Mario Galaxy 2 on the Gamepad (since it was right next to my Wii U, I thought I might as well try it out). I think it's cool, but since you can't go very far away from the Wii U, it's also a bit pointless. The sensor bar on the gamepad actually works quite well though.

Here's the list of upcoming Wii U games from Nintendo and 3DS games since they printed them on the same list.

Nice to see Bayonetta 2 X. STXFE and Yarn Yoshi still on the list for Wii U.

Yeah, glad Bayonetta 2 and Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem are still on the list. Also...is the new Kirby game titled "Kirby Triple Deluxe", then?

A new Wii U Firmware Update is now available. As far as we know, it simply improves system stability, but likely has something to do with NNIDs coming to the 3DS in December.

NES Remix is out now on the Wii U eShop.

I might get this of it's a low price but, every Wii U owner should get it for free.

That seems strange, but for $14.99, it's really cheap if you don't already own most of the games. But are the regular games still playable in their original state?

I'll be getting a $35 eShop card after the break.
I'll most likely get the Tennis Pass, NES Remix and either Golf Pass or Pikmin 3 DLC.
But Gameguy is right, every Wii U owner (or at least Deluxe set owner) should get it free.

(same question asked in 3DS topic)

Price drop. When will this likely occur?

Been out for roughly 1 year, 1 month. I say price drop may happen in another 2 or 3 years.
