Light? It's not light at all (impo), but what some might forget is last summer I had an incident where I got hurt on a water slide ride & my arm was hurt during that time, so for me it was tough to lift the gamepad & play a game for a short time. But even after that incident I sometimes find the gamepad to be bulky & uncomfortable to game with. If I had a chose of watching Netflix with the Wii U or my PS4, of course I'd choose my PS4 every time because the controller isn't so bulky.

Well, being that the accident happened, that could have effected how it feels. But of course if you're comparing it to other consoles' controllers it's going to be heavier and bulkier, it's a big controller, but personally I think considering how big and bulky it looks it feels lighter than you'd expect. (like it legitimately feels lighter than your standard tablet despite being larger)

...But I don't know maybe I'm just crazy. XD

Personally, I find the Wii U Gamepad quite comfortable to hold although not as much as the GameCube controller. However, I also enjoy the Nintendo 64 controller and it's unusual design so perhaps that affects how I feel about the Gamepad. It does feel a bit heavier than somethings like portable consoles. The size of the Gamepad is great for my hands.

The Wii U was the best selling item on Target.com for Thanksgiving.

Target PR wrote:op selling Black Friday items:

Apple iPads were top sellers in stores and online. On average, Target sold an iPad every second throughout the day on Thanksgiving. Apple Watch was especially popular in stores.

Gaming consoles were popular in stores and online, including Nintendo Wii U, which was the top selling item on Target.com.

TVs were one of most sought after items in stores— the 55” Westinghouse at $249.99 was Target’s top selling TV.

Movies were a big hit in stores with guests buying more than 3 million on Thanksgiving.

A three-foot stuffed teddy bear, priced at $10, was a surprise hit, with some stores selling out in minutes.

Top toys included LEGO, Barbie, Disney Princess and Star Wars. Target exclusives generated nearly one-third of Star Wars toy sales for the day.

Beats Solo 2 headphones were one of the top sellers on Target.com and in stores at $96.99 (reg. $199.99).

I'm sure that new Smash Bros and Splatoon bundle helped and it's nice to see some green light in what could be the last holiday for the Wii U.

That Smash/Splatoon bundle did wonders it seems! I mean, this doesn't give us any concrete numbers, but Target is a pretty popular store, and being that it was the best seller of anything online...I mean, that's a big deal! Hopefully it did well everywhere else over the past week as well, Black Friday week is a big one for NA.

Definitely. Even though I don't really celebrate Black Friday, it's enjoyable to see the statuses on other things. Nice for people to have early holiday gifts. People just can't wait! Razz

How nice! If I hadn't already bought a Wii U, I would've bought this bundle! Glad people could get their hands on this and two great games.

Impressive for the Wii U to be the best selling item on anything. For it be Target's website is nice. Good to hear this. I'm sure the Smash and Splatoon bundle helped.

The Splatoon Wii U bundle has sold out in Japan and is no longer in production.

This must be a dream since there is no way a Wii U bundle could sell out right?

The Splatoon bundle selling out in Japan? If it's true that they went through the whole stock then that's great. Too bad it's no longer in production now.

I'm surprised they're not going back into production, it's obviously a very popular bundle and really helps the Wii U sell, it makes no sense to just end it here.

Just thought I'd post something since a few games just became million sellers. Yoshi's Woolly World and LEGO City: Undercover both just passed 1 million copies sold worldwide late in December! Yoshi was incredibly successful in NA specifically where most copies were sold, which is surprising considering it released so much later and was a flop in other regions.

To add to that, Pikmin 3 is just about to hit 1 million as well.

It's nice to hear that any Wii U game sold over 1 million and Lego City: Undercover seems to be the best 3rd party game on Wii U overall.
