I'm not at that bit yet, but it looks pretty cool and all that.

Re: Do you like the Final Boss?
- Spoiler:
- Dry Bowser? I actually found it difficult, despite it supposedly being easy.
Kinda fun though.

Yeah it was ok but easy if you had the right power up.

Re: Do you like the Final Boss?
It was alright in my opinion; however, I really am getting tired of the "giant Bowser" sequences throughout the NSMB series. I'd personally love to see something new next time around (at least a different type of Bowser fight would be nice).

Perhaps a new final boss instead of Bowser. I just don't see them getting too creative with another Bowser boss.Kinopio wrote:It was alright in my opinion; however, I really am getting tired of the "giant Bowser" sequences throughout the NSMB series. Quite true...all I really see for him is to...get bigger and breathe fire. Oh, and of course that button/axe to destroy his platform.
Nintendo should really give Bowser a rest for a while and bring out a new or retired villain. Wart from SMB2, perhaps? I'm sure Nintendo can add in a new villain; yet, keep Bowser in the story (perhaps like in the PM games where Bowser appeared several times for comic relief or even a mini-boss).

Re: Do you like the Final Boss?
It'd be cool to see Wart back again. Really, there weren't any other final bosses used in the main Mario platform games, so if it had to be an old one, I'd say he's the best choice.

Indeed (unless Tatanga or even Wario counts - though more SML exclusive). Out of subject, but I'd personally love to see a remake or sequel to SMB2 (USA). At least a NSMB USA (lol) would be a great gift to my eyes!
The bosses from SMB2 had interesting fights and I'd love to see how it would work with the physics of the NSMB games.

Re: Do you like the Final Boss?
I never really fully played SMB2 (USA), so I can't really relate to that.

Well that's alright, but if you're willing to have a little change from the general SMB games, SMB2 is definitely a winner (at least to me!).
Pretty unique gameplay and bosses (though I guess we're getting off topic here ). Anyways, SMB2 deserves a better rep than what most people say of it (due to that whole "copy" thing).

Re: Do you like the Final Boss?
I think Bowser should stay as the final boss maybe just make his fight more like Super Mario 3d Land.

I am just saying that because that is the only not giant Bowser in years. My dream for the bowser would be a mix of the 64 and Super Mario Bros 3 ones.

Re: Do you like the Final Boss?
Oh yes! Bowser in 64 was just perfect. I'd love to see how they could put that into a 2D game.
