Technical Errors

The sponsored content thing is not something I added so I really have no idea why that's there...I'll have to ask the guys at forumotion what's up. Thanks for letting me know, I don't really get on here through mobile.

My guess is that they're probably trying to get ad revenue. Which is fine since forumotion is free I'm just surprised it hasn't come up sooner is all. (It's another reason why zetaboards is superior since there are no ad posts on the forum.)

This happens whenever you try to change your color in the chat. You also get a return to the index message.

I saw the "Sponsored content" post in this very topic earlier. Strange. I wasn't using a mobile device. It was the first and last time I saw it.

I also had the same error that Gameguy posted above. A small pop up with the message appears when you try to change the colors. The Chatbox has been a little glitch-y lately.

Alright I'm removing the sponsored content thing, I don't want you guys being annoyed by it! I'll have to see what's up with the chatbox then. That same issue with changing colors has, I believe, happened before and just fixed itself, but if it's happening again I'm not sure what's up.

You know that symbol that appears in the boards next to a topic if you posted in it? It appears to be a broken image with the "You have posted in this topic" text next to it.

^ It might just be on your end? I still see the usual picture but I know that pictures will occasionally break for certain people. (although that could happen on any website) It could also be a browser issue, I'll check Chrome and see if I get the same issue. If not it's likely just you.

I guess it was just my end. It corrected itself later last night. It has not came back so I think everything is fine now.

Any news on the sponsored content stuff? I still see it, but now I see it on my laptop & any mobile device as a guest viewing the forum. If it shows only to guests it's fine, I can live with it. Just color me curious I suppose. x3

On the subject of guest view, why is it that the posts-per-page when guests view topics is much higher than when we're logged in?

^ Is it? That's a really strange error, I actually recently changed the posts that appear in each thread by accident and changed it back, maybe it just never changed back for guests. I'll have to figure out why that is, thanks.

It will only show up when viewing as a guest. However, if it really bothers you or anyone else, I can fairly easily remove them. I just figured it can help support forumotion without being a bother to any of our users while they're logged in, so it was sort of the best of both sides.

BUMP!! New issue. From what it looks like to me is that the scrolling announcement bar doesn't seem to be working anymore:

Oh & it seems that the top options that allow editing options are missing too when doing a full post too. Not to mention the fact that the picture preview doens't work for when more then one picture is posted. Along with the spoilers not working when they're clicked on. Dood, this place seems to be falling apart. XD

^ All of those issues are completely nonexistent for me. Are you sure it's not just a problem on your end? You might want to switch browsers to see if it's a browser-related issue as well. But it's definitely not a universal thing because everything is fine on my end.
