    Sunshine Airport Empty Sunshine Airport

Post by Luma Party Sat May 31, 2014 12:26 pm

I found that Sunshine Airport had the best music of the new courses and was my favourite course out of all of them.

Driving through runways and taxiways with the planes was epic.

Yeah I agree, I love this track, I think it's very creative and fun. Who would've ever come up with the idea to use an airport as a track for this game? It works very well. I wouldn't say it has the best music of any new tracks though.

I read something saying that Sunshine Airport was going to be used in the past as track but, they were never able to add it in past games do to less power on the system.

I like this track since you drive in and outside of an airport and it makes me want a Super Mario Sunshine 2 for the Wii U.

^ Where did you see that?

And yeah, it would be cool if they used the airport as a way to travel to different islands in a Super Mario Sunshine 2.

IGN interview wrote:Also interesting, we learn that Sunshine Airport was actually an old track idea that the dev team came up with, but it couldn't be implemented due to lack of hardware power. The track was finally realized thanks to the power of Wii U.

It sounds like the team wanted to include the track in Double Dash.

Yeah, you're probably right actually, since it is based off of Super Mario Sunshine. Well that's interesting, I kind of prefer it now though with all the anti-gravity and whatnot.
