Kirby and the Rainbow Curse is the sequel to Canvas Curse. I think it looks cool, but why that art style? It's kind of creepy. XD I never got to play the original, so I might try this one out.

This game looks like it really used the Gamepad and I will get the game since I like Kirby games.

Re: Kirby and the Rainbow Curse
Looks like it's pretty innovative, or at least they're using the gamepad for what one would assume its intended purpose pertains to.

Re: Kirby and the Rainbow Curse
^ Well it does seem innovative, but it is strange that they'd make a sequel to Canvas Curse. I thought they'd do something entirely new next. (I'm not complaining though)
Also, I wonder if the entire game is made out of clay, or if that's just certain objects. (such as Kirby himself)

Re: Kirby and the Rainbow Curse
Here's some new gameplay. We also got a release date of February and Waddle Dee will be a playable character.
It's cool that Waddle Dee is a playable character but, this game better not be $60 since I would only play about $40 for it.

Re: Kirby and the Rainbow Curse
I'm surprised it's releasing that early! I was expecting much later. That's nice to see. Being able to play as Waddle Dee is cool, and the multiplayer mode does look interesting. I'm probably going to get the game, although I'm also hoping it's not $60. I'd still pay $50 though, maximum.

Re: Kirby and the Rainbow Curse
Kirby and the Rainbow Curse releases February 13th in NA!
I was honestly expecting late February, that's really early. I'm guessing it's the first of Wii U's monthly releases for next year, and they're just skipping January. (except for maybe some eShop games)

Re: Kirby and the Rainbow Curse
I think of this game as Kirby & the Rainbow Road myself. :p I've never been much of a Kirby fan & I've never seen a reason to be one. It's just Kirby eating up monsters turning into them & getting to the next area: whoopee. (This is all my personal opinion of course.)

Re: Kirby and the Rainbow Curse
That's about 5 months earlier than I expected.
I'll see if I can get it then.

Re: Kirby and the Rainbow Curse
@Queen
As much as I love the main series Kirby games, it's funny you'd post that in a thread about a completely different type of Kirby game (a spin-off) where you don't even get copy abilities and play the game completely differently. Just saying. I guess a lot of the early Kirby games weren't too great though. I do think they've been doing some really creative things with the series lately though, I think you should maybe try them out.
@Luma
I know right? It's insane. I hope that doesn't mean it won't be very long though. Usually Kirby games end up being released way later than they're supposed to be, so it is strange to see this one release so much earlier.

I guess it's coming out early since there's hardly much to translate.

Re: Kirby and the Rainbow Curse
I'd only try them out if I was given one for a gift. Or as a demo download. I liked some of the earlier Kriby games to waste time with but beyond that they were kinda just fluff. ^ Kind of just fluff? Yes, I do think Kirby is a piece of fluff. XD That's fine, I guess the games aren't for everyone, but I do really enjoy them myself. (uh, well, most of them anyway :p)
