What do you think of the board game mode in Smash Wii U, Smash Tour?

I think it looks really great! I expected the board game to be boring, but you can battle each other when you pass them on the board, and you gain experience, and those powers from Smash Run. Looks like my favorite new mode!

It seems like a mix between Smash Run and Wii Party. Of course the downside is that you can only use your Miis at first.

Although I played it alone, when trying out Smash Tour, it felt kind of lifeless and boring, especially compared to the 3DS version's similar mode Smash Run. I wasn't really sure what was happening in the game, the completely random battles, the unfair stat boosts that seem kind of random, and items in general felt pretty unfair during battles...I don't know. I didn't have much fun with it.

I think it's really poorly done.
Everything was randomly done.
Random fighters, random boosts, random items.
It's like you never knew what was going on.

The thing that annoyed me about this was that the whole thing builds up to a final fight with all your collected stats and trophies, but then it comes down to who killed the most players, so when I played I had a lot of characters and lost, I I've only played it once.

I just play this mode so often since it's an easy way to get custom moves and gold. The mode has a ton of nice ideas such as the random fighters at the end and the different item matches such as Pokemon Smash and Team Smash.

It just that the random items they make you lose half your fighters make the mode less fun.

^ Yeah, and the whole point of the game is to collect more fighters for the end, it seems like you're constantly losing them due to items and unfair battles due to stat boosts in the middle of the game.

Smash Tour is an unholy mess. It's not fun to play and the computer is a cheating bastard for the most part. I only played it three time for the Pac-land stage, which is something I regret since that stage is so bad.
