Who I think the most likely DLC characters are for Smash 4 part 1 veterans

There's some good and bad news about if Lucus can be DLC. The bad news is that Ness has PK Freeze as a custom move and that his game never made it out here. The good news is that his trophy lists him as a fan favorite and Nintendo could also put his game on the VC at any given time. So I would say it's up in the air if he will be DLC or not.

I can see Lucas being DLC, but he would basically just be a clone of Ness now. (He pretty much already was, but even moreso now)

Wolf is kind of in the same boat as Lucus since Fox has some of his moves as custom moves. I think Wolf is the most likely character to return though since he can promote Star Fox Wii U when it comes out and his moves would likely be changed so that he's no longer like Fox.

I think a new Star Fox character that is a bit different would be added instead of Wolf.
