The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask 3D

This game hasn't been confirmed yet, but a Spansih retailer called Xtralife has listed Majora's Mask for Nintendo 3DS. Considering it's the day before the 3DS Nintendo Direct, it could very well be a game. I think it's idiotic of them to make this (assuming they are making it) because they already made a remake of a Zelda game for 3DS. They should've been making a new one.

I would rather them make a new Zelda for the 3DS. Because Wind Waker in HD and Majora's Mask 3D is overkill.

Yes, indeed. And in addition to that, Miyamoto said before they would not be making anymore Zelda remakes soon. So this might be fake, but if it is true, then he was totally lying about that.

The only answer IGN got from Eiji Aonuma was a laugh about a Majora's Mask remake.

I think fans should really stop asking for a Majora's Mask to be show next year since Aonuma was working on Wind Waker HD, A Link Between Worlds and the Wii U Zelda all during the same time frame.

That likely means there won't be a remake of Majora's Mask. But, I guess you could say the laugh is because they're currently developing it...depends on how you look at it. :p

With The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask being my favorite Zelda title I would love a remake and get it without hesitation. I'm not hoping too much for a remake though. It's in the Shadow of a few Zelda games (especially Ocarina of Time).

They could be hinting at a remake because of the Soundtrack CD for Majora's Mask as a Club Nintendo reward. That could mean nothing though.

According to a quote from Miyamoto at the Nintendo Shareholders' Meeting recently, a Zelda game is being worked on for the 3DS. (or something related to Zelda at least) This comes as part of a response to someone's question about Zelda Wii U:

^ I honestly wouldn't be surprised, they do sometimes bring 2 new Zelda games to consoles. The NES, N64, and Game Boy Color both had 2 Zelda games each. And you could technically say the Gamecube and Wii did too, although Twilight Princess is a port to each console.

But if it's a new game and a sequel, I think it will be a Majora's Mask sequel.

Nu, technically Twilight Princess is a port for the Wii since it was meant to release on the GC. It was ported over to the Wii in order to get more Wii console & game sales: duh. XD

Idk something is telling me that we'll probably never see a port of Majora's Mask any time soon. I mean nothing was hinted at this NOT being a new 3DS title.. So my gut feeling is that it's going to be a new title; or something completely different altogether.

^ Well, there's just so many things pointing towards it being Majora's Mask 3D. After all those hints from A Link Between Worlds, and the developers talking about it around ALBW's release, there have recently been a few other things as well:

- Aonuma said he knows fans want Majora's Mask 3D. (Source)

- The team that developed the Ocarina of Time 3DS remake recently put up a job opening that said "Would you like to make a legend with us?" The "legend" is even glowing in gold, so it's very likely at least a Zelda game. But the fact that the only other Zelda game they made was Ocarina of Time 3D, it has to be Majora's Mask 3D. (Source)

Now this. So I think Majora's Mask 3D is what it is.

I kind of doubt it.. I mean yea he may KNOW the fans want a Majora's Mask re-release but I don't know if he's going to deliver. If anything; I'd say it'd be a pre-Majora's Mask tale myself. ;3

Well, I guess we'll have to wait and see. Who knows, maybe it'll be a Majora's Mask 3D remake AND Majora's Mask 2. He never specifically said one game. :3
