Well with the Romani deluxe milk & use of the mask of course it's still going to be easy to beat. I used to use the deluxe milk with the giants mask when playing it for the GC. So I'm sure that it'll most likely still work in the 3ds version as well.

Yeah you're right. I do enjoy defeating Odolwa using the milk and the mask combined just for fun. They're likely going to fix the glitches where you can use the mask outside of boss rooms but I wouldn't miss that too much. The milk does help greatly with Twinmold so running out of magic isn't a problem so I hope they don't change the effects of the milk. I wouldn't mind them raising the price of it.

So if there were to be new content added to Majora's Mask 3D that wasn't in the original N64 version, what would you guys want it to be?

I'd like there to be some kind of Master Quest mode like there was in Ocarina of Time 3D, or at least a Hero Mode. Although, Nintendo has supposedly been working on this game ever since OoT 3D ended development, so maybe there's something more.

While I am not a big fan of remakes, Nintendo did a good job on OoT 3D, so I think this will turn out to be great as well.

I'd definitely like to see a hero mode or master quest mode. Aside from that, I think it would be cool to add extra masks or expand on the Bomber's notebook. Maybe they could let you wear the bosses' masks with different powers and effects.

Quite honestly I'd love to see the hidden desert area that is spoken of in online myth's actually come true in this version of the game. Maybe some how by linking OoT to MM some how; is what I want. But I know it'll never happen. xp

But yea, a new area added on would be great. I don't really care for hero mode since I'd use the same hacks & tricks already in the game to get through hero mode just as quick & just as easily. *shrugs*

Here's some new info.

According to Aonuma, after Ocarina of Time 3D released, they considered what to develop next
- Shigeru Miyamoto said to Aonuma: ''If we ported Majora's Mask to a portable device, woudn't it play more smoothly than the original as it is possible to put the game in sleep mode at any time?''
- Aonuma refused at first since he had memories about how development of the original game faced great difficulties
- Also thought, ''if we made the remake, there would likely be many parts to be changed''
- Aonuma considered the remake seriously and played the original again
- Thereafter he thought: ''If this thing is changed, it would be easier to play''
- The difficulty balance assumed that players had experienced Ocarina of Time before
- For the remake, new players are also being considered
- Aonuma: ''Specifically speaking, parts that were conventions and weren't explained at all are changed, and challenges which you realize by repeating many times are made easier to understand.''
- The changes in Majora's Mask 3D are intended to help stumped players with hints
- Three-day cycle remains the same, and the system for following other people's actions aren't changed
- A boss battle will be seeing changes
- Players will be able to fish at two places
- Gyro controls returning in Majora's Mask remake
- Dev team is also using the know-how from A Link Between Worlds to make more pleasant touch controls
- Visuals will be the same on original and New 3DS
- Mysterious tease from Aonuma: ''Please wait for the opportunity to discuss how playing on the New 3DS differs at a later date.''

It's cool how fishing is being added and sounds like the game will play better on the New 3DS in some way.

I'm thinking they'll add quick inventory swapping with the C-Stick in an update once the New 3DS releases. (unless it's out by the time this game releases)

In North America, there will be a Majora's Mask 3D Special Edition which comes with a Skull Kid figurine!



That looks really cool, although I'm not sure I want to pay extra money for it, as it costs $49.99. :/ Still, it looks like a really nice figure.

I know what I'm reserving at Gamestop when I get back home next week. XD But yea; $50 may seem expensive but if you consider that the 3DS game is probably going to be $40 then the price of the figure then becomes $10. So yea.. I think it's a pretty decent price if you think about it: impo.

It seems like they're sold out pretty much everywhere. The preorders just went up for Best Buy, but they're already sold out as well.

I'm not really worried about reserving it this week since I'm no place near any of my local Gamestop's this week. I'm still in TN & won't be able to reserve anything until next week anyway. Besides I'm sure that more reserves will be out by then anyway. If not I have faith I'll be able to reserve a copy for myself some how or another. :3

Apparently, the game includes Feather Statues that allow you to save wherever you want in Termina as you play. The Owl Statues are still there (why?) but these new Feather Statues are there as well.

This is great, I heard complaints about the Owl Statues from the original, plus I've been wanting the ability to save wherever you want in Zelda for a long time.
