Super Smash bros 5 Mega Brouhaha (Yeah, I know the name is ridiculous).

Returning Characters:

Mario, Luigi, Peach, DK, Diddy Kong, Rosalina, Yoshi, Bowser, Bowser Jr, Wario, Link, Zelda, Sheik, Ganondorf, Pikachu, Greninja, Charizard, Mewtwo, Lucario, Jigglypuff, Fox, Falco, Wolf, Ness, Shulk, Villager, Captain Falcon, Kirby, King Dedede, Meta Knight, Pit, Palutena, Dark Pit, Duck Hunt, Olimar, Little Mac, Marth, Ike, Robin, Lucina, Samus, Zero Suit Samus, R.O.B, Mr Game and Watch, Sonic, Pac Man, Mega Man, Mii Fighters, Ice Climbers.

Basically everyone from Smash 4 plus a few.

Newcomers:

Disco Kid, Doc Louis, Plasm Wraith, Ghirahim, Yuga, Dr Luigi, King K Rool, Cranky Kong, K.K. Slider/DJ K.K., Isabell, Marx, Krystal, Panther, Professor Hector (From Gyromite), Phoenix Wright, Three additional Mii fighters: Mage, Doctor, and Adventurer. Mystery newcomers from Kid Icarus and Xenoblade Chronicles (I haven't played those games so I have no idea who they could be).

Indie characters: Shantae and Shovel Knight. (Very unlikely but I can dream, right?)

Some New stages:

Super Boxing Ring, Formidable Oak, Zoness, Cave of the Past, Threed (Transforms between the haunted and regular versions), Tom Nook's Store, Clock Town, Field (Zelda Wii U), Palace of Twilight, Wario's house, Gyromite, Wet Dry World, Champion's Road, Windfall Island, Treacherous Mansion, Mega Flatzone.

^ I can tell you right now you're going to be disappointed with the roster in the next Smash game. XD I would also LOVE to see Shantae and Shovel Knight playable, but it's highly unlikely we'll get many more third party characters, let alone from indie devs. Who knows though, there's always the possibility.

Yeah it is really unlikely. They could have some really unique movesets inspired by their games like Shovel Knight using the Chaos orb as a special, it would be so cool to see them playable. I wonder if they would even consider indie games and characters for Smash Brothers.
