Bayonetta 2

Just announced yesterday morning.
I'm really looking forward to it, since I never got to play the first one. Anybody who played the first, should I play that first?

I think you should play the 1st one before this one and this game will only be on the Wii U.

This game is looking good.

I still need to go back and finish Bayonetta one! It didn't really grip me sadly, yet so many people say it's a great game... maybe if I put more time into it this could be another Wii U title to consider.

Here's the new trailer. I liked how Bayonetta looked in the first game better than she does in this one...but I guess it's not a big deal.

The game looked very good and I can't wait to see more info on the game at a later date.

While not many details have been announced yet, the game will include a 2-player mode. I think it's a nice idea, although I'm not quite sure what they would do with it. It is also unknown if it will be more than 2 players, they did say 'multiplayer' but also said it would be a 2-player mode.

Maybe multiplayer means local and online. At this point is an unknown; but knowing SEGA they'll probably try to take it online but ends up going both online & local with the game at the end of development; would be my guess.

Sega is not working on this game. It's just Platium games and Nintendo.

Some one at the Sega customer service thinks that Bayonetta 2 is the same game with little changes.

The second Bayonetta as you well know is being published by Nintendo exclusively for the Wii U. Both games have been developed by Platinum games. That said, the decision on which version to purchase is really up to you. The games are exactly the same except the WiiU version has a two player mode and the Bayonetta character has different hair and her costume is different.

If those additional features are not important to you, then by all means don't hesitate to pick up the PS3 or Xbox version. Good Luck and we hope you enjoy whatever version you decide on.

Hey everyone,

The information provided is not accurate and we apologize for any confusion. Bayonetta 2 is an entirely new game

Now many NeoGaf members are saying the game is just a port of Bayonetta 1.  

It seems like this member just did this so they can have there daily topic of talking trash about Nintendo.

It's obvious they didn't think that Bayonetta 2 was the same game, they just don't get any money off of it, so they want people to buy Bayonetta 1. But still...



They did a terrible job at that, they're basically saying "Bayonetta 2's gameplay is completely different, but it's the same game as Bayonetta 1."
