....I just hope that the game is as good as it looks to play when it finally does release.. ^^; I'll wait & see if I want to get it or not until it's released & make my final decision then.

Re: Yooka-Laylee
Shovel Knight will appear in Yooka Laylee.
I guess this is a nice cameo even though they likely only had him show up so that his fans fans would buy the game.

Re: Yooka-Laylee
NICE!
I love Shovel Knight so it's definitely pretty cool to see him here. He's been included in quite a few indie games now as a cameo, it's interesting to see him so often.

Awesome! Justice In Spades! He has appeared in quite a number of indie games and it's always nice to see another. I'm quite shocked by this, he's Yooka-Laylee now, he looks incredible. The Shovel Knight theme remix in the trailer is also great, though he sounds a bit odd with a Banjo-Kazooie type voice. I love Shovel Knight.

Re: Yooka-Laylee
Yooka- Laylee will be released on April 11th for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. The Wii U version has been cancelled in favor of a Switch version.
I feel sorry for anyone who backed the Wii U version and does not have the money for another system. On the other hand at least there giving people the option to pick a different version and not just keeping there money to themselves.

Re: Yooka-Laylee
Well I was planning to purchase the Wii U version so it looks like I'm not getting Yooka-Laylee. Kind of sucks because I was actually looking forward to this one, but oh well. I don't want it on PS4 or Switch.

Re: Yooka-Laylee
Personally, depending on how the game looks after it's release I'll probably getting which ever version I can find on sale at the cheapest price. Which, usually that ends up being the Xbox One version sometimes so I'm fine with that.

Re: Yooka-Laylee
-Major bump- The reviews for Yooka-Laylee are in & so far they don't look so good. IGN & KOTAKU both gave the game a score of 7.5 to 7 (or so) saying that the puzzles in the game are kind of frustrating. Along with there only being 5 HUB worlds that you can go to & unlock more of the world from. Idk, I was actually thinking about getting this game, but after seeing the reviews I'm not sure I want it anymore. Well not at $40 anyway. I might wait to get it on sale though. I'm kind of wary now though, but I thought I'd post something about the reviews & see if any one has changed their minds since they've come out; besides just me.

Re: Yooka-Laylee
Yeah, doesn't look like it's worth full price in its current state.
I'll still be getting a copy, since I contributed to the KickStarter, but it's a bit of a disappointment nonetheless.

Re: Yooka-Laylee
I agree, everything I've seen so far points to it not being so great. From what I've heard based on a few of the sources I've looked at for reviews and the like, it does a good job at being a spiritual successor to Banjo-Kazooie and that the worlds and characters are fun to explore, but that it isn't very polished and can be painful and frustrating to play through because of that. It depends from review to review but most of them are saying essentially that. :/ Oh well. Maybe it'll get better later on if they release an updated version or at least a patch. I'll probably get it for a discounted price though.
