Rock is cool and all, but I liked the older ones who had like a different facial feature and that made them unique.

It's interesting; nonetheless. However, I really don't think they were too necessary as a new design as something about them gives me a similar vibe to the heavy Purple Pikmin.

Glad I'm not the only one who thought about that. The Rock Pikmin look unique...but they don't really stand out for a unique purpose like the previous ones.
I rather see a Green Pikmin (camouflaging purposes among nature would be neat).

If a Pikmin could turn invisible, you could have them wait behind an enemy, or even in front for that matter, and the enemy can't see them get the jump on them without worry of getting attacked before hand.
