Octo Valley (Single Player) Empty Hero Mode

Post by Luma Party Sun May 10, 2015 9:46 am

This single-player platformer looks really cool.
Octo Valley seems so cool since it's directly under Inkopolis, and it looks fun.
I've been waiting for a good platformer on the Wii U, if I can't have a new Mario one, this is good.

It looks so great! Can't wait to actually play it, I probably won't actually end up doing so until after I've played Turf War a lot, but it definitely looks like a really creative single player mode and should be fun to play.

This is what I'm doing right after I tour the Plazza main area. I like how it's very different then the main modes as while.

Octo Valley (Single Player) Empty Octo Valley (Single Player)

What do you think of the single player campaign in Splatoon, Octo Valley?

I still haven't played all the way through, despite how much I've played the game. But from the first 15 or so stages, I really like it. It's not quite as addicting as the multiplayer mode, but it doesn't really feel like an extra tacked on. It's really innovative within Splatoon's mechanics. Every level feels unique from the others, with it's own new concept being added, like the geysers, shifting splatforms, invisible paths, railways, etc. There's just a lot going on.

    I love it, really fun.
It doesn't feel like a shooter, and I love that.
It's also interesting, something new, that I've been waiting for.

It's cool and I beat 12 regular levels and 2 boss levels. I kind of wished you could change your weapon though.
