Midterm exams are over and we have a holiday now here simIliar to Thanksgiving for now. It's good that I get 10 days of rest since I would be very busy without it..

Re: The Anything Thread (5)
Enjoy the 10 days of rest Nessness.
I woke up early today so that I could get an SNES in store at Bestbuy. I got in line 20 minutes before line and I was lucky to get the paper for the 49th one. My Dad also give my an iPhone 8 Plus due to my 6S being on it's last legs.

Re: The Anything Thread (5)
Well, my sister left home earlier this week in order to start a new job in Oxford. She's working for a company which specialises in environmental consultancy services.
She seems to be doing well so far - but I do miss her !

I wish her while at her new job even if it's a bit sad that she had to move away.
I see Blade Runner 2049 tonight. It was an alright move outside of the long length and I disliked how little action there was in it.

If you didn't really like Blade Runner 2049, you won't like the first one even more. If you haven't seen it.
I do want to see Blade Runner 2049. The first was so bad it was good IMO. That ending especially was very intriguing I admit, though.
I have no idea what to expect with this sequel.

Re: The Anything Thread (5)
Well, I didn't see Blade Runner 2049, primarily because I'd never seen the first one (and had never really had any reason to ) .
I had a nice day today. Went down to Oxford, to see my sister for the first time since she moved out. We also had dinner at a lovely family-run restaurant called 'La Cucina' - which is so much nicer than the chains, and actually no more expensive either. If anyone here ever goes to Oxford for any reason, then I can't recommend it enough!

Anyone have any plans for Thanksgiving? I just plan on going to the buffet casino.

To play Persona 5.
I've been avoiding family get togethers this year. Moreso than previous years anyway. I especially wish not to go because it's at the Barb's.

I will reply again since no one has since I last did.
I have been having crummy sleep these past days(4-5?). A combination of the unusually warm November we had and maybe stress in general is most likely the cause. Persona 5 is prolly contributing to this as well.
The agitation levels have risen. I feel more easily frustrated and annoyed too. Someone stop me before I yank hair and twist head.

Re: The Anything Thread (5)
^I know this advice might sound "out there" but try sleeping with a fan on & see if doing that helps any.
Well, we just got a brand new 6ft Christmas tree cause our old small one is kinda looking sickly.

I hope you feel better soon Hex.
It's always nice to get a new tree Queen.
I was able to take care of Christmas gifts for my sisters today thanks to the sale at Bath and Body Works.

As for Queen's comment about using a fan... I actually do. Funny you would suggest that. I feel it is extremely difficult sleeping without one.

@Deck the Maniac
I can certainly understand that, but I feel like things generally become easier throughout winter, whether that's a side effect of the cold weather and whatnot I have no idea but it seems to be that way for me at least. So, hopefully it will be a little better going forward.
@Christmas Queen
Sounds awesome! Especially if it's a step up from the old tree.
@Jingle Guy
I think it's funny that a sale at one store was all you needed to get her gifts, if she's into that kind of thing though it definitely works, she'll be happy.
Today marks the end of the run for a show that I've had a terrible experience with, from awful direction to the worst possible rehearsal process for a show like this, I'm REALLY glad that it's ending. It also frees up a bit of time until my next show because from this and work combined with actually having other things to get done as well it's been super busy, should be nice to have at least a little more time on my hands for awhile.

Re: The Anything Thread (5)
Sorry to hear your show didn't go so well . I hope the next one turns out to be better for you!
I had a very nice Christmas meal yesterday evening with my work colleagues. I had a caramelised shallot tart as my starter, which I'd never had before - but I enjoyed it and I'd definitely have it again . For my main course, I had steak and vegetables, then chocolate tart as my dessert: less adventurous, but still very nice!
