Are you good at singing?

Would you consider yourself a good singer?

I wouldn't, at all. I'm not horrible, but I'm really not that great either. It's the reason I tend not to audition for musicals...I feel like they're expecting near-broadway level singing skills, and obviously I'm just not up there. Although I do plan to practice a bit so I can try to be in more musicals in the future. (just because there's so many more of them than there are standard productions)

I'm pretty bad singer but I sign along to songs because it's fun and I don't really care if I'm bad

Oh I'm awful, I also exaggerate parts of the songs to make them worst, it's mostly to myself but it slips out some times.

Not really, given that my technique isn't great (I'm very much an upper airway singer and get confused at the idea of using the stomach (actually diaphragm) as the source of the sustained voice)

Also given that I like songs which I have to sing in falsetto that also doesn't help

I can. I've been in choir before & I still sing to this day. I'd sing something & upload it; but Jing is weird & doesn't want to share my beautiful singing voice with the world. XD

Sometimes I feel I can sing good and other times not. So, I suppose a 50/50.

Then again, I have no idea how it sounds to other people even though I sometimes randomly just start singing random things in front of my mom when playing Mario Party... lol

My voice is not cut out for singing and I don't think I could sing the most basic song.

So that original post is very outdated. XD As you all probably know I can sing pretty well. It's one of my strongest points actually.

AHH okay, I'm really sick right now but maybe I'll record something when I'm more alive. And it was from doing shows but I'm not on Broadway. Yet. Lol. I've also had some voice lessons since.

Anyway, how easy was it to learn?

^ Honestly not difficult. The thing is, I feel like depending on the amount of natural talent you have it could be harder or easier. I think another reason it was so much quicker for me to learn was because I was surrounded with talented people that were very experienced and taking from them, and it worked really well. It does take a LOT of effort but I was able to do it rather quickly just because of that and having some natural talent to begin with.
