Super Mario Maker costume Mario wishlist

A while ago Random Talking Bush pointed out that Nintendo could add up to 199 costumes to Super Mario Maker. In this topic I will share a few a wait to see.

Lets start with a few fan made ones.

Ones I would like to see part 1

How about some Retro characters Gameguy?
Stanley, Balloon Fighter, Bubbles, Excitebiker, Ice Climbers, Mach Rider.

Chrom, Viridi, and the Squid Sisters NEED to be added, they're among my favorite modern Nintendo characters and I'd love to play as them. (And see how they look in the Super Mario Bros. artstyle)

And I agree with Luma's as well, more retro characters could be nice.

Balloon Fighter and Popo where found in the files. So we might see those cut 13 costumes at some point.

This time I mostly included characters they could use to promote games coming out. 160 costumes.

Lana from Hyrule Warriors would be a great choice for a character in my opinion. I really liked her. Doc Louis from Punch Out!! would be great as well. I think a couple more of them such as Glass Joe, Super Macho Man, and Mr. Sandman would be interesting choices for Punch Out!! costumes.

You told me the reasons for choosing Aqua (Or was it a different name?) instead of the player character from Fates in the chatbox, she'd be fitting as a Super Mario Maker costume.

How about Urban Champion?
Or King K. Rool, they have to put in non-promoting games costumes.

I doubt Next Level Games would make the many event levels and the player character would look like Robin a little to much or not have the right voice like Shulk.

Some old characters and some newer ones. A grand total of 170 and now I just need to think 29 more costumes.

I'm not sure if Next Level Games would be the ones to make the Punch Out!! ones unless it was Disco Kid and the secret character, I'm not sure if they are responsible for creating Disco Kid. They could make a costume or two for Punch Out!!

Lip and Cranky Kong? Splendid. Krystal and Fiora sound like good choices too.

Where at 180 now so there will only be 2 more parts.

When it comes Ayumi the lack of being know in the west would be a drawback and I would expect to see 3 popular western costumes before they given Japan a 4th.
