New update coming this Fall

OMG, those vans with the folk wearing Hello Kitty clothes was so cute. Too bad you can't get the character into your town associated with the brand though.. I think it'd be neat to have a cat folk who was made to look like her tbh. Same with other characters as well, such as a frog folk, dog folk & the like. Still it is what it is.

Good news if you're planning to come back to New Leaf after the fall update and haven't played for awhile! Isabelle will take care of all your weeds when the update releases, so you don't have to worry about picking them yourself if it's been awhile since you last played!

It sounds like a one time deal. I really do wish they would add an option to pay a set number of bells to have them all be gone if you have not played in a few weeks though.

Ha!!!! Usually if you havne't played in a few month's (to a year) she asks Leif to help 'clean the town up'. Also, I found that if you've set your town to be beautiful there won't be much in the way of weeds anyway. More so if you have your town filled with flowers (or tile) everywhere.

I thought the Beautiful Town Ordinance completely prevented any weeds from growing while it is active. It's been a long time but that and Bell Boom were my preferred ordinances, I recall Beautiful Town having that perk.

I think paying Leif to pull the weeds whenever you want would've been better. Perhaps a certain amount of bells per weed would be fair. It's nice that it will offer to pull them once at least.

Looking around the internets last night I found out that the Animal Crossing New Leaf Direct will happen on November 2. sauce So we have at least 2 month's before we get more info about this update.

^ Yep, it was announced during the Japanese Nintendo Direct. I want to say that means the update will release shortly after, so probably sometime in early November.

The update will also include a photo feature.

So I guess the game will just keep track of every amiibo card you use then and it seems like that photos with Mario AR card game.

That's really cool, it definitely adds more to the photo function since you were only able to take in game screenshots called "photos" before.
