My Rankings Pokemon regions

Over the years we have traveled to 6 different regions with are favorite Pokemon. Here are my rankings of all 6.

While Sinnoh is one of the best regions for most it was the least enjoyable one for me. While the new Pokemon and challenge are great there are a ton of reasons why I dislike the overall Gen. The walking speed was to slow, there where so many useless HM moves like Defog and Rock Climb, the rival was not the best and even Team Galactic was less enjoyable then the other evil teams. I hope the remakes on the next handheld can help me enjoy the region more and adding in the rideable Pokemon for Sun and Moon would be a good start.

Johto is the smallest region to date and the level balance was always off in the later half of the game. With that said the gym leaders where pretty fun to fight and there where plenty of fun Pokemon to use like Ampharos, Quagmire and Umbreon.

The region most started with and it might just be the most overrated one. While there are plenty of cool Pokemon like Gengar, Snorlax and Arcanine, the gyms are pretty cool and Team Rocket was the only evil team to kill a Pokemon. The region was kind of dull and the backtacking could have been handled better.

Hoenn is often times the Gen that is forgotten about since most grow out of Pokemon at the time and that there is to much water around the region. With that said I feel like it's has one of the best story lines since you get to see 2 different sides of the coin and it was the first Gen to move away from Kanto. I also enjoyed just about every gym leader and the Battle Frontier is the best battle place to date.

You know Kalos often times gets the most hate out of every region. I thought it was one of the best Pokemon games and region to date though. almost every new Pokemon had a good ability, the region felt different and Mega Evolution really made the game feel fresh. I also don't understand the hate for Team Flare since there goal with the ultimate weapon was pretty cool even if they did not have that much story behind them.

Say what you want about Unova. It was a really nice change of pace to have a full set of new Pokemon and have all the past Pokemon be post game only. I also believe Team Plasma was the best evil team to date and there goal made you really think if it was really aright to catch any Pokemon.
